Jadwiga Unrug, 70, of Chicago, IL passed away on March 3rd, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time she passed.
Jadwiga was born on July 17th, 1952 to Eugenia and Zbigniew von Unrug in Oborniki Śląskie, Poland. She was the dear sister of Maria and the late Wiktor and Janek Unrug. She was extremely proud of her Polish heritage and passed that on to her kids when she moved to Chicago in her early 30's.
Jadwiga was a wonderful loving mother who sacrificed everything for her children. Jadwiga is survived by her daughter Jennifer and son John. She will be dearly missed by many.
